Caroline is a knowledgeable and experienced H&S consultant who used a tailored approach to us as a charity and helped us to work out what our needs actually were, and to put a plan in place to enable us to improve our policies and systems to ensure a safe working environment. I would wholeheartedly recommend her.
(survivorsnetwork.org.uk)
Survivors' Network delivers accessible, survivor-centred services across Sussex. Although some health and safety arrangements were in place, Survivors' Network wanted the reassurance that all risks had been identified and managed as they provide a dedicated service to people who have been subjected to sexual violence, abuse and harassment. CgSafety conducted a complete review of both the premises risks and working activities, including lone working and worked closely with the team to develop up to date safety documents, tools and advice.
Caroline has whipped our health and safety into shape in record time - thank You!
(iss.uk.com)
ISS specialise in helping small and medium sized businesses master their IT in the South East of England. CgSafety was approached to assist ISS with their legal health and safety responsibilities not only to protect their employees but to demonstrate to their clients that they have the required safety processes in place. A complete safety management system was prepared which included policies, procedures, risk assessments and guidance. All of which covered both the risks relating to the workplace, travelling on business and visiting client's sites.
Caroline was a pleasure to deal with, she was thorough and produced a report really quickly for me.
(wellbeing clinic)
A wellbeing, holistic clinic required risk assessments and policies at short notice as part of their business insurance renewal requirements. A visit to the premises was completed to fully understand the role and function of the operation. All documents were then prepared (together with findings and recommendations) within the short specified timeframe.
WOW felt huge to roll out our safety programme and I couldn’t have come close to any of that without everything you have done in the last 3-4 months so massive thank you to you, really appreciate it.
(mayvin.co.uk)
Mayvin work with leaders and teams to develop practical organisational development and design skills and approached CgSafety for support with creating their health and safety policy and identify gaps in their health and safety management. Over a 3 month period risk assessments and procedures were put in place including DSE and homeworking assessments, working closely together to close out actions and implement practical safety solutions.
I feel as though a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and great to know I can contact you with any questions in the future.
(Down to Earth)
Although the majority of health and safety requirements apply when a business has five or more employees, smaller businesses still need to be mindful of the risks that they create and look at ways to reduce them. For some business owners they are increasingly being asked by their clients for copies of written risk assessments/method statements (RAMS) to ensure the work is completed safely, and this is regardless of how many people are employed.
CgSafety has helped a number of small garden maintenance/cut flower businesses who have identified the importance of ensuring their health and safety risks are identified and well managed.
That's super, thank you Caroline and thank you for your valuable input.
(moorishdips.co.uk)
Moorish is a small business producing award winning humous and dips. The founder of the Company, required health and safety support following notification that one of their employees was an expectant mum. CgSafety completed an expectant mothers risk assessment as required under the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations and provided the Company with a detailed report of findings and recommendations to ensure the risks exposed to the expectant mother were either avoided or managed effectively.
